About the Role:This position is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of victims of crime. As a Caseworker with Victim Support, you will be responsible for providing tailored support and information services to victims, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are upheld.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of self-referrals or referred service users, delivering excellent services that support the commissioners and their service goals.
- Undertaking risk and needs assessments to address the specific needs of clients, following relevant safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Providing information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate and understand the criminal justice process.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or families.
- Understanding and knowledge of promoting equal opportunities, inclusion, and diversity.
- Ability to work without direct supervision, prioritizing work and dealing with competing demands.
- Excellent IT and administrative skills, including the use of Microsoft Office packages.
