We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Secretary to join our Conveyancing Team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally within conveyancing or property law, and possess excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage legal documentation for property transactions, including contracts, deeds, and correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients, solicitors, and third parties to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Maintain and update case files, manage deadlines effectively.
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and administrative tasks to support the conveyancing team.
  • Conduct property searches, liaise with external agencies as needed.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally within conveyancing or property law.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal software and case management systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Package:
  • A competitive £45,000 - £55,000 per annum salary package.
