Job Summary:

Ambitious Resources Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for coordinating the timely and cost-effective movement of materials, products, and support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the receipt, inspection, and storage of materials, ensuring accurate data entry into our computer system.
  • Unload and load delivery vehicles using our Fork Lift Truck as needed, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Assist the Materials Team Leader in achieving departmental KPI objectives and contribute to our 6-S program, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and issue kitted parts for manufacture, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and maintaining a high level of quality control.
  • Manage and maintain stock levels, ensuring proper labeling, secure storage, and a tidy environment, adhering to company standards.
  • Support daily cycle counts and contribute to stock minimization tasks, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Control the correct disposal of materials, following COSHH/ISO14001 regulations, and promoting environmental sustainability.
  • Uphold company policies related to quality and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001.

Requirements:

  • Experience in materials handling within a warehouse or production environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Fork Lift Truck experience is advantageous, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory methods is beneficial, as is experience with inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to tasks, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
