Job Summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect to lead our Markets strategy, driving innovation and transformation in our Corporate & Institutional Banking business unit.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing and implementing technology strategies that align with business objectives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that balance customer and business outcomes, risk, cost, and time. As a senior leader, you will excel at strategic direction setting, influencing decisions across executive communities, and coaching, mentoring, and developing other architects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of technology strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet business and customer needs
  • Coach, mentor, and develop junior architects to ensure their growth and success
  • Influence executive-level decisions through effective communication and stakeholder engagement

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in Commercial and Institutional Banking, particularly in Markets, Trade, and Lending products and processes
  • Deep technical knowledge across various topics, including domain-driven models, microservices, event-driven design, hybrid cloud deployment models, cloud service provider technologies, DevOps, CI/CD, modern data paradigms, cyber security, resilience by design, and sustainability
  • Breadth of experience in architecture, preferably in a regulated industry like finance

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £140,216 - £164,960 per annum, plus benefits such as a generous pension contribution, annual performance-related bonus, share schemes, flexible working options, and a wide-ranging benefits package that includes discounts on shopping and wellbeing initiatives.
