Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with issues management and crisis comms related to the UK retail business, ensuring timely and effective response.

  • Exercises good judgment, advising others on the best course of action and managing positive and negative media enquiries.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Several years of experience in a creative communications role, either within a PR agency or in-house.
  • Extensive experience in dealing with high-level consumer media contacts across news, lifestyle, and broadcast sectors.
  • Strong, business-focused writing skills, with hands-on experience of digital and social media, as well as influencer marketing/communication.
  • Issues management experience, including development of messaging and Q&A documents.
  • Strong competency in basic Office software (Outlook, Excel, etc.).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Retail background, with knowledge of the UK retail and online markets.
