Job Title: Principal Psychologist

Service Care Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Principal Psychologist to join our team in Shrewsbury. As a key member of our Crisis & Home Treatment Service, you will play a vital role in delivering expert psychological support to adults with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality psychological services, including complex assessments and treatment plans.
  • Lead the psychological care pathway, coordinating the work of other professionals within the team.
  • Offer clinical leadership and supervision to junior psychologists and trainees.
  • Contribute to the development of specific psychological therapies within the Trust.
  • Participate in service development, policy changes, and governance initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral-level qualification in clinical/counselling psychology with BPS accreditation.
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Substantial experience working as a qualified clinical psychologist, particularly in crisis services.
