About this Role:

We seek a highly skilled Health & Safety professional to lead our client's strategic risk management services. As a seasoned leader, you will have exceptional client management skills, leadership abilities, and a strong background in business development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage long-term relationships with clients across diverse sectors, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide expert advice and support to clients at strategic and operational levels, aligning with team technical expertise.
  • Lead initiatives to grow the consulting services, create market strategies, and raise the profile of our services.
  • Develop tailored Health & Safety proposals to meet client objectives, incorporating technical methodologies and project management plans.
  • Oversee planning and execution of projects, teams, and client stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Health & Safety consultants, promoting growth and performance.
  • Achieve personal revenue targets (£300k net) aligned with business financial goals.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on work products to maintain high standards.
  • Lead international business development efforts, including occasional overnight stays and travel.
What You Need:
  • Minimum 10 years Health & Safety industry experience, preferably in consulting with broad technical product management.
  • An appropriate degree (or equivalent) in Health & Safety management or a related field.
  • IOSH Chartered Member or senior accreditation with a recognized institution.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering technical services, managing risk systems, and providing advisory support.
  • Proven track record in business development, including service line strategies and client care initiatives.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Ability to manage projects within budget and achieve financial targets.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards through rigorous QA processes.
