About the Position:

  • The Lead Health, Safety, and Environment Specialist will be responsible for supporting operational teams with the production of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Undertaking occupational exposure monitoring, assisting external providers as required, and providing advice on risk management and health surveillance.
  • Assisting with the development and undertaking of HSE Audits and Assessment Plans.
  • Developing and delivering HSE training and identifying suitable external providers as required.
  • Taking the lead on coordinating and facilitating safety committee meetings.

Essential Requirements:

">
  • Demonstrable experience developing, communicating, and embedding policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Experience training and coaching others, both in groups and 1-2-1, to develop knowledge and improve performance.
  • Excellent planning and co-ordination skills.
