Job Title: Housekeeper/Cleaner

Adecco UK Limited is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join their team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout our facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors in patient rooms, corridors, waiting areas, and offices.
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and countertops, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
  • Change linens and towels in patient rooms and public areas as needed, ensuring a fresh and clean environment for patients and visitors.
  • Empty trash and dispose of waste in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are properly stored, organised, and in good working condition.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and guidelines to prevent the spread of germs and ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
  • Collaborate with other members of the housekeeping team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Uphold confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.
  • Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
