About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Protection and Control Specialist to join our Power Networks team at AtkinsRéalis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the delivery of our Net Zero agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation and commissioning stages of projects, ensuring that all protection and control systems are functioning correctly.
  • Resolve technical issues at sites, working closely with clients, engineers, and sub-contractors to deliver high-quality results.
  • Commission the protection and control aspects of different projects, ensuring that all systems meet the required standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • HND or degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Experience in commissioning P&C of substations in the UK (NG and/or SSE).
  • BP141 or equivalent authorized or ability to do so.
  • A high adherence to safety and quality regulations.
  • Flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
