We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our talented team at a 24-hour hospital in East Riding of Yorkshire. This role will not only support the main team but also additional clinics in the area, offering the chance to advance your career in a full-time capacity.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team comprising a clinical director, head nurses, vets, RVNs, student nurses, patient care assistants, client care assistants, and administrative staff. They will work in a well-equipped facility featuring 24-hour hospitalisation, separate dog, cat, exotic, and isolation wards, three operating theatres with updated surgical facilities, an in-house lab, and excellent diagnostic imaging facilities, including ultrasound, Doppler, digital X-ray, a range of digital endoscopes, rhinoscopy, arthroscopy, and a CT suite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the practice's ongoing development and supporting a dedicated night team.
  • Maintain high standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
  • Proactively support and share clinical best practices within the practice and the wider community.
  • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Skilled in supporting nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures, with an understanding of their impact on clinic performance and efficiency.
  • Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to maximise team performance.
