About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of social housing repairs and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team to deliver responsive maintenance provision, including inspecting, scheduling, ordering, and post-inspection of planned works
- Manage and monitor the cost and use of materials, as well as subcontractors
- Liaise and communicate with various stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, contractors, colleagues, and residents
- Oversee performance reporting, both financial and operational, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in social housing repairs or a similar industry sector
- Demonstrable commercial acumen and experience managing budgets in the range of £10-15m
- An understanding of Health & Safety Regulations and working knowledge of Asbestos policy & procedures
- The ability to apply Risk Assessments / Method Statements
- A full driving license
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable organization and develop your career in social housing maintenance management.
