About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of social housing repairs and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team to deliver responsive maintenance provision, including inspecting, scheduling, ordering, and post-inspection of planned works
  • Manage and monitor the cost and use of materials, as well as subcontractors
  • Liaise and communicate with various stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, contractors, colleagues, and residents
  • Oversee performance reporting, both financial and operational, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in social housing repairs or a similar industry sector
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen and experience managing budgets in the range of £10-15m
  • An understanding of Health & Safety Regulations and working knowledge of Asbestos policy & procedures
  • The ability to apply Risk Assessments / Method Statements
  • A full driving license
