Electronics Assembly Specialist

At Personnel Selection, we're seeking an experienced Electronics Assembly Specialist to join our team in Farnborough. As an ideal candidate, you'll have a solid background in electronics assembly, repair, and refurbishment. Your primary responsibility will be to work on a range of small handheld devices, including mobile phones and scanners, ensuring they meet customer specifications.
We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work. You'll have excellent fine precision skills and be able to work efficiently with small handheld tools. Previous experience in an electrical environment or a related hobby will be beneficial, but not essential.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Disassembling devices for refurbishment, whether resurfacing or recasing.
- Assembling devices to customer specifications.
- Ensuring full functionality and correct OS revisions/firmware.
- Documenting and managing device configuration files and processes.
- Health and safety, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Housekeeping, maintaining a clean working environment.
- Testing and configuring new devices prior to dispatch.
To be successful in this role, you should have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and be keen to learn and develop your skills. We're offering a competitive salary, which is estimated to be around £36,500-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include weekly pay, paid holiday, and a pension scheme.
