Care Companion

Care for a young person 5 hours weekly in the WF11 area, earning £14.30/hr.

We are seeking a Support Specialist to care for our 11-year-old daughter, Matilda, in our home for 5 hours a week. Matilda has a physical disability resulting in the use of a wheelchair and a communication disorder. Experience with children who have these conditions would be beneficial.

1. Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities.
2. Prepare and feed meals, including gastronomy feeding.
3. Maintain social inclusion and support our family with days out.

Matilda is a happy and funny girl who is non-verbal but creative in communicating. She has a very cheeky personality that brightens up anyone's day.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to work at weekends, although we can accommodate alternative schedules if needed. The role is rewarding and fulfilling, offering opportunities to make a positive impact on Matilda's life.
