Your Responsibilities- Clearing Transactional Backlogs: Clear the backlog of financial postings across multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Supporting Day-to-Day Processes: Support transactional processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance, to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Accurate Financial Records: Update and maintain accurate financial records, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Enhancing Financial Controls: Establish and enhance financial controls by identifying gaps, recommending solutions, and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance.
- Monthly Management Accounts and Reports: Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and other quarterly reports, providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations.
- Quarterly Reforecasting and Budgeting: Assist with quarterly reforecasting and annual budgeting, ensuring accurate financial projections and planning.
- Process Standardisation and Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process standardisation and efficiency within the finance function, implementing improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or similar qualification.
- Experienced in management accounting, with a strong understanding of financial control and transaction processing.
- Strong understanding of transactional accounting, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Comfortable with occasional travel to European business locations as required.
- Hybrid work pattern.
- Eligible to work in the UK full-time without restriction.
