About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Housing Support Mentor to join our team at Adferiad Recovery. As a key member of our floating support service, you will work closely with individuals who have experienced repeated homelessness and complex needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred, tailored interventions to support individuals in finding sustainable accommodation and developing independent living skills.
  • Work with service users to address issues related to housing, employment, training, education, offending behaviour, and social isolation.
  • Develop and implement support plans that focus on individuals' strengths and goals.
What We Offer

As a Housing Support Mentor at Adferiad Recovery, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our service users. You will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to providing high-quality support services.

Our service is available between 9.00 am to 8.00 pm, Monday to Sunday, with flexible working hours to meet the needs of our service users. You will be expected to work across the hours and days of service delivery and be part of a rota for out-of-hours provision.

Under the direction of the Senior Service Manager, you will work collaboratively with the team to provide a supportive and empowering environment for our service users.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the needs of individuals who have experienced homelessness and complex needs. You will be a skilled communicator and have the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

You will also need to have a flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work across a range of hours and days.
