Learning Support Mentor Position in Poole

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Mentor to join our team in Poole. As a Learning Support Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to thrive in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized support to students with SEN, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with teachers to create engaging and effective learning activities that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Monitor student progress and share updates with teachers to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students with SEN.
  • Help students build confidence and self-esteem by celebrating their successes and providing positive reinforcement.
  • Assist with classroom management to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children who have SEN is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with students and staff.
  • Ability to adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of each student.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed and enjoy learning.
  • Good organizational skills to manage multiple students and their progress.
