HR Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at Hearts Recruit - Hertfordshire & London Head Office Recruiters. As an HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the HR Director with all areas of HR, aside from recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the HR Director with HR projects and initiatives
  • Develop and implement new processes, policies, and procedures to contribute to the ongoing success of the business
  • Act as a champion for people, culture, and wellbeing
  • Support managers to handle grievances and deliver workshops to enhance their capability to effectively manage employee relations issues

This is a fast-paced role in a dynamic environment, and we are looking for someone who wants to come in and make the role their own. You must be ambitious, hands-on, and enjoy seeing projects through from start to finish.

About the Role:

This is a brand new role for the business, with lots of scope to progress and make a real impact. You will be working as part of a collaborative and growing HR team, with a focus on employee relations and change management.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for people, with a commercial approach and the ability to get the balance right between business needs and people wellbeing. You will have experience in HR project work, process improvement, and employee relations, and be able to hit the ground running.

As an HR Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects and initiatives, from implementing new policies and procedures to developing and delivering training programs. You will also have the chance to work closely with the HR Director and other members of the HR team to drive business success.
