Job Summary

As a key member of the Geospatial Engineering team at Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU), we are seeking an experienced AWS Lead Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) integration, supporting the specification, development, and delivery of large complex solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead work as part of a DevSecOps team to provide 3rd line support and enhancements for GIS Software Services.
  • Support and maintain industry leading COTS products within NG.
  • Act as a Geospatial SME, leading work as part of an Agile team.
  • Support and work alongside others within the project team to ensure timely delivery and solution quality.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of Geospatial concepts, subject matter expertise within a team or project.

Requirements

  • In-depth experience of deploying and supporting enterprise GIS Systems, preferably Esri ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Understanding of Data Management principles to ensure best use of organisation and visualisation of mapping services.
  • Experience of using cloud infrastructure within AWS - Automated deployments (IaaC, Serverless).
  • Desirable - Knowledge and application of one of the following programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java).
