Job Title: Child Protection Specialist

Location: London Borough of Barnet

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Child Protection Specialist to join our Children & Family Services team. As a qualified Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children under our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify potential risks and provide appropriate support to families
  • Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to prevent child abuse and neglect
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Provide regular updates to Team Managers and other stakeholders on case progress
Requirements:
  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Current DBS clearance
  • Valid UK driving license

Salary Range: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum
