Senior/Principal Building Control Surveyor

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior/Principal Building Control Surveyor to join our team at Matchtech Group PLC. As a key member of our Building Control & Fire Safety consultancy, you will be responsible for overseeing the North London patch and ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting detailed plan reviews to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards
  • Carrying out inspections on construction sites at various stages of the building process
  • Providing technical advice and guidance to clients, architects, and contractors
  • Working closely with colleagues to find the best outcome
Requirements:
  • A ranging experience in Building Control
  • Knowledge of current building regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret complex architectural plans and drawings

We are open to considering candidates with different levels of experience, with Level 3 being desirable but Class 2 also being considered. The salary for this position is up to 75,000, with a car allowance of 4,800 per year and mileage reimbursement of 45p per mile. You will be required to spend 2 days in the office, and the package also includes 31 days of annual holiday, bank holidays, and a pension scheme.
