Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to drive financial success and provide insightful analysis for a client of ours based in Exeter. While motor trade experience is not essential, a passion for detail and strategic thinking is crucial.
Responsibilities and Requirements:- Prepare accurate and timely management accounts and financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, aligning with business objectives and ensuring efficient financial management.
- Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying and explaining variances, and providing recommendations for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Monitor and control costs, maintaining and improving financial systems and processes to ensure accurate and efficient financial management.
- Assist in strategic financial planning and decision-making processes, evaluating profitability of products, projects, or departments, and providing insights for strategic decisions.
- Manage and forecast cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs, and utilise financial reporting tools and software to streamline reporting and analysis processes.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and initiatives, and support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Basic Salary: £40,000 + £6,000 Bonus + Car
Hours: Monday to Friday [8:30am - 5:30pm]
