Arabic Language Examiner for GCSE Exams

At Pearson, we are seeking a highly skilled Arabic language examiner to join our team of experts in assessing student performance in GCSE Arabic exams. As an examiner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our marking processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marking candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme
  • Ensuring overall standards are maintained through accurate and consistent marking
  • Submitting samples to your Team Leader at designated times
  • Adhering to milestones for marking and ensuring all administration is completed as specified

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification
  • Qualification as a teacher, with a minimum of 5 months part-time teaching experience of the relevant qualification and subject within the last 10 years
  • Assessment experience with a recognised UK exam board, within the last 5 years, relevant to the qualification and subject being applied for

Competencies:

  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • High level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme
