About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Mental Health Crisis Worker to join our Crisis Team at Missing Link. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and recovery services to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build trusting relationships with service users and their families, providing emotional support and guidance.
  • Work closely with carers, families, and other services to develop and implement crisis plans and relapse prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Assessment and Recovery Team to ensure seamless delivery of crisis support packages.
  • Provide specialist support to women using the service, offering advice and guidance on mental health issues.
  • Facilitate service user involvement and inclusion within the community, promoting mental health awareness and education.
  • Manage caseloads, documentation, and time effectively, ensuring accurate and up-to-date record keeping.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health needs, complex needs, or multiple needs.
  • Ability to maintain hope and optimism for individuals with high expectations for recovery.
  • Effective time management, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
  • Current, full driving license and access to an appropriate vehicle.
