About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chair to lead our Board and drive the success of Trafford Leisure. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organization and ensuring we deliver our vision and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Board and ensure effective governance and decision-making
  • Work closely with our CEO and other members of the Exec team to drive strategy and delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Trafford Council and other partners
  • Ensure the Board is equipped to make informed decisions and drive the success of the organization
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a strong track record of leadership and governance experience, preferably in a similar or comparable sector. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will also have a deep understanding of good governance and be able to apply this in a practical and effective way.
