Deputy Director - Energy Assessment

A key opportunity has arisen for an experienced Domestic Energy Assessor to join our specialist environmental consultancy, supporting a national client base.

We are seeking an established professional with expertise in delivering Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for residential properties, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will work alongside our team to provide front-line support to clients, deliver site visits and technical audits, and assist in the development of Part L SAP assessments for construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver EPCs for residential properties through on-site assessments
  2. Collaborate with our DEA team to provide exceptional client service, including phone and email support, auditing, and compliance services
  3. Support the growth and development of our energy assessment services, including the expansion into new markets and sectors
  4. Contribute to the delivery of technical training and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the company
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • A level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor qualification obtained through a reputable accreditation scheme
  • Proven experience in an assessor role, delivering EPCs for residential projects
  • An additional energy assessor qualification such as OCDEA would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in a client-facing capacity
  • Prior experience in a similar role or industry is highly advantageous
