Cyber Security Support Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Support Analyst to join our UK-based Service Desk team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role and will be responsible for monitoring systems, responding to alerts, and escalating urgent threats to the Escalations Management Team.

The successful candidate will provide triage and first line of defense for all cyber security incidents within the organization, take ownership and provide remedial actions to mitigate cyber security threats, manage technical and stakeholder incident reporting via concise communications, liaise with third-party service suppliers, and provide operational support to the wider Cyber Security Team on security incidents.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing timely and effective responses to cyber security incidents
  2. Maintaining a high level of situational awareness of potential and actual security breaches
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize risks

Essential qualifications include:

  • Minimum 1 year of proven experience in a Tier 1 Cyber Security SOC Support Analyst role
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel SIEM technologies
  • Understanding of key Microsoft 365 Cloud Technologies from a threat landscape perspective
