We are seeking an experienced industrial maintenance attendant to join our team at a large site just outside of Uxbridge, Greater London.

The successful candidate will work for a global market leader within the aerospace production sector.

To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience as an industrial cleaner and be physically fit, conscientious, and reliable with excellent interpersonal skills.

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000-£26,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and tidy manufacturing area by sweeping and cleaning floor areas, emptying bins, and clearing general rubbish.
  • Monitor and remove daily swarf bins from machines and dispose of swarf into separate recycling skips.
  • Report any coolant or oil leaks to supervision or maintenance teams.
  • Clean machine sumps and wet vacuum hoovers in line with TPM frequency requirements.
  • Clean the outside of machines on a regular basis using appropriate cleaning materials.
  • Notify supervision when main skips are nearing full capacity for replacements.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy back yard area at all times.

Additional duties may include general housekeeping and cleaning tasks to provide a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous industrial cleaning experience.
  • Understanding of recycling procedures.
  • General Health and Safety awareness.
  • Possession of a forklift or Roubur pallet truck license (ideally but not essentially).
