Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver refrigerated products in cages to retail stores, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Load and unload refrigerated vehicles with tail lifts, maintaining load security and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Utilize a handheld PDA to complete paperwork and manage delivery schedules.
  • Plan routes on a daily basis, optimizing delivery times and minimizing delays.
  • Interact with customers face-to-face and over the phone, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain regular communication with the transport team, updating them on delivery progress and managing customer expectations.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Possess a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience with refrigerated trailers and tail lifts is preferred, but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
  • Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Have a good understanding of geographical locations and be able to navigate efficiently.
