Toolmaker Specialist

Job Summary:

Optima UK Inc Ltd is seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join their team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating Toolroom machines, including EDM wire eroding, manual CNC mill and lathe machines, and cylindrical and surface grinders. They will also be responsible for understanding and making parts using engineering and third angle projection drawings, as well as supporting and improving manufacturing methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Set, run and operate Toolroom machines to a high level of skill

Understand and make parts using engineering and third angle projection drawings

Support and help to improve manufacturing methods

Assist production departments to maintain and refurbish machine parts and associated equipment

Requirements:

GCSEs (A-C grades including Maths and English) or equivalent

NVQ level 2 or 3

BTEC engineering qualification

AutoCAD - Solidworks

Experience using EFACS or similar ERP system
