Job Description

The University of Edinburgh is seeking an experienced administrator to support research governance and ethics administration.

This role will assist with maintaining the College's online research ethics and governance review system, as well as supporting the roll-out of a University-wide online ethics system.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing regular reports for projects requiring University sponsorship and/or NHS Research Ethics and R&D approval, and providing support to the College Research Ethics Committee.

This is a full-time position (35 hours per week), but we are open to considering job-share or flexible working patterns. We also welcome applications from candidates who wish to work on a hybrid basis, combining remote and regular on-campus working.

The salary for this post is £28,879 - £33,232 per annum.

We require someone with excellent organisational, decision-making, time management, and prioritisation skills. The ideal candidate will have proven ability to interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.
