About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Technician to join our Engineering Department at our Manufacturing Site in Howden, East Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement automation and controls systems to ensure robust and reliable engineering design.
  • Act as the site's technical lead, responsible for fault-finding and delivering continuous improvement projects across manufacturing safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Work cross-functionally to build trusted relationships and make decisions that benefit all stakeholders.
What You'll Need
  • Time served Electrical Engineer, Automation/Controls apprentice, or minimum 5 years post-qualification work experience in an FMCG environment.
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Ability to fault-find and implement program modifications on PLCs and SCADA, Robotics.
  • Knowledge of parameterisation and commissioning of servo drives and inverters.
  • Experience of fault-finding on industrial communication networks.
  • Delivery of change management activities.
