About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to work in a thriving school in Great Dunmow. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining classroom order during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and productive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring students complete assigned work.
  • Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment, addressing any behavioural issues.
  • Provide general support to students, answering questions and offering guidance where needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and support school events when not required for cover.
Requirements
  • A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to engage with students.
  • Flexibility to take on various tasks within the school environment.
  • A commitment to supporting students' education and well-being.
