Job Summary
The University of Brighton is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Study Abroad team as a Study Abroad Programme Officer. This is a permanent part-time role, working 30 hours per week, over 5 days, from 09:30 to 15:30.
About the Role
The Study Abroad Programme Officer will be responsible for providing a comprehensive service to incoming Study Abroad students, from application to departure. This includes ensuring visa regulations are met, managing international qualifications, and supervising students on off-site field trips.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Study Abroad programme, ensuring a seamless experience for students
- Coordinate with the Study Abroad Office Manager to achieve programme objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with international partners and stakeholders
- Provide administrative support to the Study Abroad team
- Supervise students on off-site field trips, ensuring their safety and well-being
Requirements
- Highly motivated and organized individual with strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
