Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist, Perinatal Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist occupational therapy services to patients in a perinatal setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist occupational therapy services to patients in a perinatal setting, including assessment, treatment, and education.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as needed.
- Provide training and supervision to junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a perinatal setting, with a focus on occupational therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
