At Azets, we're seeking a talented Financial Planning Expert to join our team. As a key member of our financial planning department, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality financial advice to our clients.

With a strong understanding of UK financial regulations and tax laws, you'll help clients create personalized financial plans that meet their short-term and long-term goals. Your expertise in investment options, pension schemes, and tax-efficient savings will enable you to provide tailored advice that suits each client's unique needs.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a leading firm of accountants and business advisers, operating across the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics. The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This role involves working collaboratively with our supporting team to identify and establish contact with potential clients. You'll gather and analyze information required to provide financial planning advice, review client circumstances regularly, and make recommendations accordingly.

You'll also be responsible for completing all administration tasks in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring adherence to internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

We're looking for a professional who is ambitious, has excellent interpersonal skills, and can work independently to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality financial advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
  • Financial Planning: Leverage your expertise in UK financial regulations, tax laws, and investment options to create personalized financial plans for clients.
  • Investment Advice: Research, evaluate, and suggest suitable investment options based on clients' objectives and risk profiles.
  • Retirement Planning: Guide clients on UK-specific retirement savings options, including workplace pensions, personal pensions, and state pensions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A relevant professional qualification such as the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working as a Financial Adviser in the UK market, with a solid understanding of UK financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Strong knowledge of UK-specific investment products, pensions, and tax-efficient savings options.
  • An analytical mindset and attention to detail when conducting financial analysis and creating financial plans.
