Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team at Hays Accountancy and Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing in-house finances for a small company based in Henley-on-Thames.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in finance or small-to-medium-sized companies. They should be proficient in bookkeeping, VAT returns, and year-end accounting, with a strong understanding of AML & KYC Procedures.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage in-house finances, including basic bookkeeping, payments, invoices, reconciliations, and VAT returns.
  • Perform administration tasks to support the smooth operation of the finance department.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in finance or small-to-medium-sized companies.
  • Experience with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and year-end accounting.
  • Familiarity with AML & KYC Procedures.
  • High proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications.
