About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our FPGA Prototyping Verification team at Arm. As a key member of our Solutions Engineering group, you will play a critical role in driving the verification of SoC RTL designs modified for FPGA implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain SoC verification testbench
  • Integrate third-party VIPs and write test cases in C
  • Reuse C test cases from internal IP/SoC frontend team
  • Create test plans and develop tools using scripting languages like Python, Perl, and Shell for automation of tasks
Requirements:
  • Experience working with embedded C/C++ based SoC verification environments
  • Knowledge of systems using AMBA bus standards, such as AXI, AHB, and APB
  • Extensive experience in verification, including technical team leadership, mentoring, or coaching junior engineers
  • Understanding of computer architecture fundamentals
  • Experience with Tcl, Python, or other scripting languages
  • Exposure to all stages of verification, including requirements collection, verification methodology plans, test plans, testbench implementation, test case development, documentation, and support
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with ARM-based designs and/or ARM System Architectures
  • Familiarity with ARM debugger and trace features, such as ARM DS and DSTREAM
  • Experience with verification methodologies, such as UVM/OVM
