Pertemps Telford is a well-established metal manufacturing client based in Hortonwood, seeking a number of full-time experienced MIG/TIG welders to work on bespoke products.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reading from drawings and fabricating from scratch to a high standard. Your primary objective will be to complete projects to the client's specification and adhere to safety protocols, while contributing to the maintenance of our workshops inventory and cleanliness.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder to join our team and take on various projects, working from scratch to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG/TIG welding and be able to read from plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reading from drawings and fabricating from scratch to a high standard
  • Completing projects to the client's specification
  • Following safety protocols
  • Maintaining the workshops inventory and cleanliness
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in MIG/TIG welding (coded would be a bonus)
  • Ability to read from plans
  • Working on projects and fabricating from scratch
  • Some heavy projects/heavy lifting
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £14.00 per hour. You will work Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm. We offer a competitive salary and a positive work environment.
