Senior Equipment Technician

A key role has become available for an experienced Senior Equipment Technician to join Coalesce Recruitment Limited, a leading independent laboratory equipment provider in Cambridgeshire.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled individual to travel throughout Cambridgeshire, performing on-site service, preventative maintenance, calibration, repair and installation of laboratory equipment. This will include centrifuges, incubators, pumps, vacuum concentrators and agitators within hospitals, universities and research establishments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a proven track record of working within a field service / engineering capacity on laboratory equipment / instruments, medical equipment or dental equipment.

  • Perform routine service, maintenance, calibration, repair and installation of laboratory equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Travel throughout Cambridgeshire, with overnight stays as required.
  • Complete service reports and calibration certificates.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience working with laboratory equipment.
  • Strong written communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £36,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus:
