Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Surgeon to join one of the UK's largest veterinary retailers based in Trowbridge.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated veterinary surgeon to join our team. As a Registered Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our experienced team of veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing veterinary care to a wide range of animals
  • Working collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure excellent patient care
  • Participating in continuing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest veterinary practices and regulations
  • Communicating effectively with clients and their pets
  • Handling a variety of animals safely and effectively

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognised university
  • Membership in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
  • Previous experience as a veterinary surgeon is highly desirable
  • Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary best practices and medical regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets
  • Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and effectively
