About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Braille Educator to join our Vision Impairment Advisory Team at InFocus Charity. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing Braille teaching to our students and supporting their learning needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Braille teaching to students as part of their learning programme
- Collaborate with support staff, tutors, and Pathways Leads to ensure effective support for visually impaired students
- Manage a caseload of students and provide resources necessary for their learning
Requirements
- Ability to read and write in Braille to grade 2 level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to individual learning needs and create a stimulating learning environment
