About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lecturer in Engineering to join our dynamic Agriculture Team at Hartpury University and Hartpury College. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional teaching and training to our students, shaping the next generation of agriculture professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment to students on our agriculture programs, ensuring they achieve excellent results within exam-based qualifications.
  • Develop and deliver BTEC units at level 2 & 3, as well as providing tutorial support to students.
  • Contribute to the development of our agriculture curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and effective in preparing students for their future careers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver innovative teaching methods, enhancing the student experience and promoting academic excellence.
  • Engage with external partners and industry stakeholders to ensure our programs remain aligned with the needs of the agriculture sector.
Requirements
  • Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to complete one.
  • Possess a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area or have equivalent industry experience.
  • Be a strong team player with excellent administration skills and a willingness to engage with external partners and industry.
  • Be a highly motivated lecturer with experience of providing tutorial support to students, advantageous.
