About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to join our team at Cavendish Nuclear, a leading provider of nuclear solutions in clean energy, defence, and civil new build and decommissioning projects.


As a Finance Director, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our sector's financial activities, working closely with the Nuclear Sector CFO and MD of Cavendish Nuclear.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Preparing business unit financial reports, project performance reports, and forecasts for future business growth.
  • Supporting new opportunities, bids, and tenders.
  • Providing commercial guidance on business winning in a competitive environment.
  • Interfacing with the Sector finance team.

This is a full-time, 36-hour per week position with hybrid working arrangements, including 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.


Requirements



  • Experience in financial management at FD level in a project engineering environment.
  • Demonstrable experience as a financial leader with the drive, ambition, and gravitas to lead a high-performing team.
  • High level of commercial acumen.
  • Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS).
