About the role

As a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Tesco, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacy team. You'll be responsible for supplying prescriptions, providing healthcare advice, and participating in our charity support program. We're committed to helping you grow and develop your career, with leadership training plans and opportunities for progression.

Key responsibilities

  • Supplying prescriptions and delivering NHS and Private services
  • Providing healthcare advice to customers
  • Supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and developing colleagues
  • Building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries
  • Ensuring accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items

Requirements

  • Pharmacy Degree
  • Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
  • Completion of a DBS check (organised by us) before employment
