Job Overview:

Lifelancer is a talent-hiring platform in Life Sciences, Pharma, and IT.

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Test and Validation Specialist to join our Engineering team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Test and Qualification team during the development phase.

The role will involve assessing the impact of changes on products, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and providing technical inputs to planning and project management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the impact of changes on products to define qualification activities
  • Ensuring projects are delivered to schedule, cost, and quality
  • Providing technical inputs to planning, estimation, and project management activities
  • Supporting bids and proposals with resourcing and technical compliance
  • Providing technical support for customer-focused presentations, teleconferences, and meetings
  • Liaising with production and test houses to book test slots
  • Liaising with logistics to arrange kit delivery and collection at external test facilities
  • Carrying out product qualification testing
  • Understanding customer requirements and generating qualification test plans, reports, and compliance tracking
  • Traveling to customer sites to support technical meetings, trials, and qualification testing

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a 2.1 Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or similar discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in an Engineering role on sensor-related product design and development to military, aerospace, and commercial standards
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good organization and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a large team
  • The ability to work independently and prioritize workload

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.

Location: Bristol, UK, or Plymouth, UK, with regular travel to other locations as required.
