About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Haematology Specialist Nurse to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Haematology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to patients with haematological diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the key worker for patients with a haematological diagnosis, providing comprehensive care and support throughout their treatment journey.
  • Contribute to educational sessions and multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist Team to provide training and support to junior staff members and students.
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification and experience in Haematology or a related field.
