About the School:


We are working with a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) performing arts school in London, providing a unique educational experience for students who require a more bespoke approach to their learning.


About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced Male Behaviour Mentor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students who require additional support with their behaviour, providing guidance and mentoring to help them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Support students who require additional support with their behaviour
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to help students overcome barriers to learning
  • Work closely with teaching staff to monitor progress and provide feedback on the effectiveness of interventions
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with their academic progress

Requirements:


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Maths and English, relevant qualifications, and a patient, caring and empathetic approach to supporting students with behavioural needs. They will also have an understanding of the importance of creative arts in supporting emotional and mental wellbeing, and the ability to work as part of a team and use their own initiative to support student progress.
