Job Title: Dermatology Locum Consultant

Hiring a Locum Consultant Dermatologist who holds a Diploma in Dermatology or equivalent is essential to assist with the triage of dermatology referrals as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the triage of dermatology referrals
  • Undertake investigations, diagnose conditions, and recommend treatments
  • Refer patients for Senior Consultant Dermatologist opinion, Plastic Surgeon, or Dermatology Specialist Nurse when necessary
  • Work in conjunction with and support the dermatology nurse specialist through joint review of patients and provide advice on dermatological cases

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Dermatology or equivalent
  • Ability to see general dermatology patients directly referred by GPs
  • Ability to work in conjunction with and support the dermatology nurse specialist
