Job Summary

The Senior Environmental Performance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all environmental and sustainability commitments and requirements specified by the Sizewell C Client are incorporated into the Alliance Arrangements and Design arrangements to manage the Environment & Sustainability Performance of the Alliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various key stakeholders to ensure all environment and sustainability commitments from the SZC Client are smoothly integrated into the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) and the SZC Design Supply Chain.
  • Ensure the CWA and SZC Design Supply Chain are effectively implementing their Level 0 (Self Checking) Assurance processes in alignment with environmental and sustainability standards.
  • Offer advice and guidance to the CWP, CWA, and SZC Design Supply Chain on environmental and sustainability obligations.
  • Oversee the monitoring and reporting of construction-related environmental permits, consents, and licenses within the CWP.
  • Support the design, procurement, and delivery processes as needed to ensure environmental, decommissioning, and sustainability requirements are well considered.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a degree in an environmental, science, engineering, or related discipline and experience of operating within an environmental management system (EMS) conforming to recognised standards (BS EN ISO14001:2004).
